Well Hello!

We are still here, I have haven’t forgotten you all. Spring and early summer is a very busy time on our little farm and with Hondo’s new work schedule he is not around to help with the farm duties as much so I’ve had less time to be here. So what has happened since my last post well let’s see….. we have gotten turkeys, 2 different batches about 3 weeks apart, we have more meat chickens and the layers are much bigger and the garden is in full swing. 😀 We had a tree in the front yard cut down that had a big hole in the bottom (every time I think about a hole in the bottom of the tree I start singing that song, you know “there’s a hole in the bottom of the sea”, I know it doesn’t make sense but it is what it is 😉 ).  Hondo built this wonderful chicken tractor, it was our first attempt it’s nice but heavy. I get the mower out to push it to a new spot everyday so it’s not too bad. Small Warrior is in swim lessons and we have joined a homeschool coop, even though the classes don’t start until August we still meet for play sessions and meetings. So very busy but never boring. I am so thankful for what we have, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
